it's time to frighten

The Pueblo Horror Film Festival is an annual event that celebrates the power of indie film in the genres of sci-fi/thriller/horror.

Now in its inaugural year, this Southern Colorado festival is accepting short film submissions for entry into this season’s event. With so much festival noise out there, our mission at StoryMode Films is to provide a place for indie filmmakers to showcase their work, in an environment that is like no other.

As a spinoff fest to our annual SISFA Film Festival, this night of terror and horror truly recognizes the lasting impact of the genre. Hold on to your seats, for there are more than monsters that go bump in the night...

The Horror Fest will kick off with an exciting Live opening sequence that will be sure to get the thrills started! This will then be followed by a presentation of selected short films; featuring a mix of new shorts, classic SISFA horror shorts, & new shorts made by Colorado filmmakers!

The evening showcase will also feature filmmaker Q & A’s, Live voting, and an awards ceremony unlike any you’ve seen before!

don't be scared.

All submissions are due by September 27th or the Late Deadline of October 4th.

Filmmakers will be notified of their inclusion in the event by October 11.

Festival debuts at the Hoag Theater at Pueblo Community College on Saturday evening, October 26. Stay tuned for tickets coming soon!
